Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received Monday a telephone call from Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman HE Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.
Discussion during the call dealt with the two countries cooperation relations and means to bolster them in addition to the the developments in the region, primarily those related to the ceasefire between the US and Iran, and the efforts being exerted to reduce tension and promote regional peace and security.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underlined the utmost necessity for all parties to respond to the ongoing mediation efforts, which would open the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, and lead to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
